It features two rear brackets that easily adjust to accommodate six 30- or 100-mL round-bottom flasks. Connect the six-port glass manifold with to a water aspirator to safely collect and exhaust fumes when not operating the digestor under a fume hood. Each flask station features an independently controlled heating element and a pilot light that indicates the heater is on. Use the infinite heat controller with variable input from 20 to 100% of capacity to control the temperature of each flask station. The heating element stays on and off proportionally depending on the setting?the heater is on 100% of the time in the ?HI? position and on 20% of the time in the ?LO? position. The epoxy-coated aluminum cabinet with 1-1/2" thick insulating board helps protect wiring and controls from heat and chemicals.
