It is suitable in automation applications such as machining operation timing, conveyor speed, motor output, volumetric flowrate, and elapsed time of oven curing. The unit accepts multiple sensor inputs such as NPN open collector, contact and square, or sine wave signals. Optional outputs (analog, relay, NPN open collector) are available for additional automation control. An added teaching function auto-scales the display by inputting the sensors signal; saving on manual programming time. Other features include an auto zero function which zeros the display after final signal initiates a preprogrammed time countdown and a test mode to check operational performance of the display and keys. Integral sensor power source eliminates need to purchase a separate power supply.
