Hot plates have an epoxy-coated cast aluminum chassis and a splash-resistant keyboard cover. Indicator lights let you know if top plate is hot or unit has reached overtemperature status. Ceramic glass top plates are impervious to chemical spills; feature a cast-aluminum frame to keep edges cool.
