Microtubes and pestles are made from animal and phthalate/phthalate-ester free polypropylene that is lot traceable and certified DNAse, RNAse, and pyrogen free. Tubes feature a snap-cap design that can be pierced and are frosted for easy labeling. Tube bottoms are also 25% thicker than traditional microtubes to maintain integrity during homogenization. Pestles are ribbed to provide a good grip during assembly and allow air to escape while mixing. Tubes and pestles are available as individually wrapped, bulk packed, or paired in tube/pestle sets.
