Advanced Digital Dry Block Heaters feature a proportional integrative derivative (PID) controller. PID control allows you to select a particular temperature with ease, enables rapid heat-up for samples, and provides excellent stability to maintain results. Temperatures can be set in 0.1C increments. Heaters also have an easy-to-use touch screen interface and built-in over-temperature protection. The advanced model also has 10 user-settable programs; each program supports up to 5 sequential steps of different temperatures and duration times. The optional external temperature sensor allows for direct temperature monitoring within the block. When the external temperature sensor is connected, the internal temperature sensor will disconnect automatically.
