Versatile and cost-effective filters for large-volume samples|Filter up to one liter with one device; filtration area is 16 cm². Filter devices can be used in conjunction with a syringe or connected in-line (6 to 10 mm hose) via stepped hose barbs. Autoclavable, a high-purity polypropylene housing maintains sample purity. Hold up volume with air purge is less than 0.1 mL. Maximum operating pressure is 60 psi (4.1 bar). |PES aqueous solution filters feature a high throughput asymmetric (anisotropic) polyethersulfone membrane developed for use in the pharmaceutical industry. PES membrane are low protein binding and contains no surfactants. A glass microfiber prefilter extends the life of the membrane and effectively filters heavily contaminated samples.
