Hand tighten fittings without tools to create a secure seal|When the cap clicks, you know the seal is tight|These unique self-torquing fittings create a secure seal without the use of any tools. As the fitting is tightened, the resistance of the cap increases until the correct torque is reached. Fittings are made of PEEK? and are compact in design and provide excellent chemical resistance. The fitting can spin freely, eliminating tubing from twisting. A recess in the fitting houses the ferrule allowing maximum thread engagement with the port. Type S ferrule system uses a two-piece ferrule that fits permanently to the outside of the tubing. Two-part ferrule is made up of an inner PEEK or ETFE sealing surface surrounded by a stainless steel lock ring with only the inner portion in the fluid path.
