The handle material may be affected if the probe is rated higher than the handle depending on exposure time, application, and handle material. ABS handles are rated to 220F (104C); PVC handles are rated to 200F (93C); Stainless Steel handles are rated at 450F (232C); Mini Connectors are rated to 392F (200C).black, type Kyellow, type Tblue, and type Epurple. Probes with a plastic handle have a maximum temperature of 275F (135C) before being affected.These self-adhesive probes adhere to most surfaces.
