These durable polycarbonate hydrometers won't break when droppedperfect for industrial or laboratory use. The temperature standard for these hydrometers is 60F (15C). All hydrometers are individually serialized, feature metal ballast with wax epoxy and include multi-language statement of accuracy supplied by the vendor. Available in two models measuring sugar from 0 to 35 or 15 to 50 Brix, these hydrometers measure % sucrose by weight. Note: Polycarbonate hydrometers are not recommended for use with petroleum-based liquids or other corrosives that would potentially affect the plastic material. They should be stored in a clean, dry, safe place and should not be subjected to extreme temperatures.
