Barrels and plungers are interchangeable within each syringe size, allowing field repair. The three syringe types are described below. Removable Needle Syringes use a threaded hub and PTFE sealing ferrule that can be tightened to compensate for wear. Syringes include a 304 stainless steel needle with noncoring tip. Do not heat above 239F (115C); autoclavable when disassembled.
