The well is fitted with a strip of four insert strips, so they can be filled at the same time with a medium. The insert strips are offered in four pores sizes. There is about four millimeters of space between the insert membrane and bottom of well. The plates come with the surface treatment, cellGrade? plus for hydrophilic cell cultures. You also can build your own cell culture insert package to meet your specific applications. The customizable system features a choice of the 24-well specialized plate or 24-well standard plate with individual wells, and the two types of insert strips. The plates are offered in both cellGrade? plus and pureGrade? S, untreated, yet sterile surfaces.
