The polystyrene microplates are designed to lessen cross contamination, ensure outstanding recovery, and offer many options with color and number of wells. Three different bottom shapes are available: round (U) with no edges, flat (F) with a flat bottom, and curved (C) bottom. For easy identification of the surface type and well location, the 96-well standard format plates feature a gray color-coded embossing. With a chimney well type of design, each well is separated from each other to reduce the risk of cross contamination. The 384- and 1,536-well microplates feature rounded wells which allow optimal uniform meniscus formation. Strip plates, as well as a handful of convenient accessories for use with the microplates, such as lids, rubber rollers, and sealing films are offered.
