PETERSEN GRAB DREDGE
Quickly sample sediment from various bodies of water|Sample sand, marl, gravel, clay, and hard-bottom surfaces of deep lakes and oceans. Dredge provides deep-biting penetration with its tapered jaws and 70-lb weight. Vent holes in the jaws reduce frontal shock waves. A latch-type mechanism closes jaws when dredge hits bottom. Dredge is made of zinc-plated steel. Includes jaw weights and a safety lock to hold jaws open during handling and transporting. Sampling area is 12" x 12". We recommend using a winch and aircraft cable to operate this dredge.
