Samarium Cobalt magnet which is coated in PTFE provides strong coupling with drive magnets making it ideal for viscous solutions and efficient, high speed stirring. Recessed flutes and distinct edges of this octagonal stir bar provide excellent surface area to generate strong turbulence so liquids are thoroughly mixed, and stability is not impaired in vessels with curved bottoms.
