Cords feature low power consumption: the 3-,6-, and 12-ft 120 VAC cords (heating 1/4", 1/2", and 1" glass tubing respectively) draw about 0.1 watt/inch at full voltage/high temperature. Control heating cord temperature with our DIGI-SENSE temperature controller model 89800-01 (sold below right) or vary the output of 240 VAC models with variable-voltage transformers 01575-05 or -15). Heating cords are supplied with two cord ties and 10" leads. Effective Oct-2014 these heating cords will come with a 120 VAC split plug that came be pluged into a standard oulet.
