Microslides are used primarily with electro cell fusion system. The microslide fits on the microscope allowing observation of the alignment and fusion process. Main applications include embryo manipulation and cell or protoplast fusion. Use with coaxial banana plug connection cable 02894-68 and square post cables 02894-54.
Meander Fusion Chamber 02894-50 is a microslide with a novel design specifically used for electro cell fusion. This chamber is constructed of a conductive metal alloy, which has been deposited in a finger-like projection array on a glass microscope slide. It generates an inhomogenous field and is used for cell fusion of microorganisms, plant, fungi, yeast and mammalian cells.
