The unbaffled models behave similarly to Erlenmeyer flasks under these conditions. The half-baffled flasks create the liquid motion of a vortex, and provide a moderate increase in dissolved oxygen. For the greatest increase in dissolved oxygen, the full-baffled flasks create a motion similar to that of an overhead stirrer with an axial impeller. Cleanup is easy just soak in a mild dish soap to remove dirt, and air dry. All pieces are autoclavable, including the filter linings. Filter linings are also replaceable, with silicone membrane and Dri-Gauze materials available.
