3M™ Cubitron™ II Paper Sheet 732U features 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain, a revolutionary advancement in abrasive technology. The triangular shaped ceramic mineral is designed to slice through the substrate, rather than gouging or “plowing” like conventional abrasives, resulting in a disc that lasts up to 4x as long as conventional abrasives.
Now available from grades 80+ through 1000+, these sheets are designed for a wide array of substrates and applications,providing flexibility and versatility in use. The sheets are effective for a broad range of tasks from stock removal to fine finishing on various substrates, including metals, paint coatings, composites, gelcoat, and different types of wood. The C-weight paper backing offers flexibility and is suitable for sanding applications where edge retention is not the main concern.
