The kit includes all the pieces needed to remove the motor from the tool, disassemble the motor, remove and replace bearings, and reassemble the motor. The comprehensive kit has all the parts needed to completely disassemble and assemble 3M sanders, so you don't have to go through the work of specifying or fabricating these essential items on your own.

So what items, exactly, are required to remove, disassemble, rebuild, and re-install your 3M™ sander motor? The kit contains collars, wrenches, jigs and fixtures, bearing separators and adapters. All of these parts are specially sized to fit and match coordinating parts on the sander. Here are some highlights:
