The homogenizer is compact yet delivers 576 watts of high power with a variable speed range from 5000 to 30,000 rpm. A separate on/off switch allows for continuous processing. Generator probes are constructed of autoclavable 316 stainless steel and PTFE. Basic packages include a saw-tooth bottom generator probe; deluxe packages include an open-slotted bottom generator probe. A three-step connection between the homogenizer and generator probe provides stability, durability, and longer generator probe life. Select a plus (+) model that includes a deflector head to help homogenize larger volumes and higher viscosity materials. The deflector head creates a vertical movement of heavy materials which would otherwise stand stagnant. The sample materials from the generator tip move up the tapered walls then are cycled back down to the bottom until a homogeneous mixture is achieved. This also helps take some stress off the homogenizer and generator probe leading to longer service life.
